About Nancy Reagan and AIDS

A word about Nancy Reagan: I offer condolences to her family and supporters. But I just can’t get around the fact that so many of my generation of gay men died of AIDS while she and Ronny looked the other way. Their homophobia allowed people to die. When telling the history of a person or administration, there is a time for mourning and a time for truth. Sometimes the truth makes being respectful difficult.

I’m gonna be using this site to post rants and to keep track of emails and tweets that I’m formulating to tell my state and local government to help the 1.5 million plus rental residents that are currently out of a job and can’t file for unemployment because the infrastructure, systems, and websites are broken.
